Sustainability is a goal for all of humanity. In a context where digitalization is increasingly shaping social processes, with its advantages but also limitations and even dangers, this analysis is critical to fostering increased knowledge of these phenomena and the consequent implementation of the actions resulting from said knowledge. However, individual and collective development is only possible if we consider that the starting characteristics and contexts in question are dissimilar and often unequal. The educational dimension is pivotal to the success of any action in favor of sustainability, in an effort to reduce old inequalities and not foster new ones in a society whichseeks to be inclusive. It is in this context that this collection of articles is presented, written by a panoply of international authors from the African, American, European, Asian, and Oceanian continents, who seek-in a disciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary way, through different types of manuscripts, research articles, meta-analyses, or project reports-to make an informed contribution to promoting scientific dialogue to help pave the way for education, production processes, and digital societies for a sustainable world. These challenges are full of opportunities to prepare for digital societies truly based on smart societies that foster a sustainable world.
