Osterreichisches Biographisches Lexikon, 58. Lieferung: Slavik, Ernst - Spannagel, Rudolf

The 12th volume of the Osterreichischen Biographischen Lexikon has been completed with the 58th instalment, which includes biographies from Ernst Slavik to Rudolf Spannagel. This volume includes persons who either were born, lived or worked in Austrian states of the time and who died between 1815 and 1950. They distinguished themselves for reasons of extraordinary achievement in politics, science or art. Research for the biographies was conducted in Austria and Germany, but also locally in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy. The entire lexicon is planned to comprise 15 volumes.
