The second volume of the Studies in Hinduism series dealing with the phenomenon of Tantra represents a resumption and continuation of the research in the field of Hinduism. The various contributions by the authors of this anthology are related to different problems of the interpretation of this phenomenon, for example, the understanding of the term Tantra in the sense of tantric traditions, the investigation of the Paramasamhita regarding its religious and textual history, the analysis of the chapter of the creation of the world (srstikrama) in the same text, some considerations between theology and grammar concerning the kancukas in the Vaisnava and Tantric tradition, and the investigation of the sexual aspect of the linga cult.
