Project Report from the year 2015 in the subject Energy Sciences, grade: 10.0, Kathmandu University, course: Planning and Operation of Energy System, language: English, abstract: The project entitled Energy consumption survey of Kathmandu University and Comparative Study of Solar PV Installation and Diesel Generator Sets is an initial step toward energy management in Kathmandu University. It is the study on Kathmandu University to find out how and where energy is used and to identify methods for energy savings. The major works included in our project consists of visual inspection and data collection, observations on the general condition of the facility and equipment and quantification, identification/verification of energy consumption and other parameters by measurements, detailed calculations, analyses and assumptions. This report is just a step of simple indication towards our destination of achieving energy efficiency in Kathmandu University. We would like to emphasize that an energy audit is a continuous process.
