Between Holy Book and Facebook. How the Catholic Church can better Evangelize in the Modern Era

Scientific Essay from the year 2016 in the subject Theology - Practical Theology, language: English, abstract: The article by and large indicates the reality of Christians who show an affiliation towards a given church or denomination but in the long run do not seriously contemplate on what is taught by those organizations. The blame for such a lack of concentration on and interest in the word of God has been shifted from the devil, to the believers and also to the preachers. The present paper explores several reasons for this contemporary lack of interest in Church teachings and then advances possible remedies to it, for instance the increased use of social media.
