Der vorliegende Band behandelt Planungsprobleme, die bei der Gestaltung und dem Betrieb logistischer Systeme (Supply Chains) auftreten. Zunachst werden Modelle und Loesungsmethoden zur betrieblichen Standortplanung behandelt. Im Anschluss daran werden Konzepte zur Planung der Konfiguration von Produktionssystemen dargestellt. Mit der Transport- und Tourenplanung sowie der Paletten- und Containerbeladung schliesslich werden ausgewahlte logistische Prozesse betrachtet.
