This handbook contains two related subjects. The first one is the selection of effective corrosion inhibitors in specific industrial water to prevent corrosion of metallic equipments; the second one is the efficient treatment and recycling of the industrial water to remove inhibitors and other possible toxic contaminants before drainage. It consists of 10 sections to discuss the theoretical background and technical aspects of the corrosion inhibitors used in the industrial water system at the supply, boiling and drainage stages, and describe the proper treatment in the recycle of the waste water.
