Zwei grundlegende Perspektiven organisationspadagogischer Theoriebildung bilden den Gegenstand des Bandes: solche, die organisationspadagogische Fragestellungen mittels Ruckgriff auf Theorien anderer disziplinarer Herkunft (Soziologie, Managementwissenschaft, Psychologie) beantworten und jene, die dieses im Anschluss an eine padagogische Theorietradition unternehmen.
