Der hiermit vorgelegte Band enthalt die Mehrzahl der Vortrage, die im August 1969 auf dem V.lnternationalen Symposium fiber Neurosekretion im Anato- mischen Institut der Universitat Kiel unter reger internationaler Beteiligung gehalten wurden. Folgende Hauptthemen wurden behandelt: 1. Neurosecretion in invertebrates, 2. Adrenergic neurons, 3. Mechanisms of release of neurohypophyseal materials, 4. Hypothalamic control of anterior pituitary. Weitere Kurzvortrage waren verschiedenen Problemen der Neurosekretion gewidmet.
