Este estudo foi realizado por meio da analise documental e retrospectiva dos casos de Influenza A (H1N1) ocorridos no Estado do Parana - Brasil, durante a pandemia de 2009. Foram utilizados dados de 4740 pacientes com diagnostico laboratorial positivo realizado pela tecnica de RT-PCR. Apos as analises estatisticas, concluimos que o oseltamivir demonstrou-se efetivo em todos os subgrupos da populacao e capaz de aumentar o tempo de sobrevida do paciente tratado, quando comparado ao nao tratado.
