Dafur ist politische Bildung mit dem Kernbereich Demokratieerziehung selbst eine conditio sine qua non. Diese Untersuchung beschaftigt sich mit den Zusammenhangen von politischer Bildung an Schulen, politischer Partizipation, dem Politikinteresse und der Demokratiequalitat. Es wird gezeigt, wie positiv sich politische Bildung von gut ausgebildeten Padagoginnen und Padagogen auswirkt, und wie wichtig ein eigenes Fach Politische Bildung an oesterreichischen Schulen, Universitaten und Padagogischen Hochschulen ware.
