Se establecen relaciones causales y motivacionales entre las especifidades de las obras recibidas y las necesidades receptivas latinoamericanas. Las modalidades de la recepcion son derivadas de los contextos historicoculturales, literarios y biograficos de los escritores. Se enfocan las inter-textualidades tematicas, retoricas y estructurales entre produccion europea y recepcion latinoamericana. Segun Dill, esta recepcion no significa coloniaje mental de los literatos latinoamericanos, sino enriquecimiento y universalizacion en base a la explotacion de un patrimonio cultural comun.
