This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the International Conference on Computational Intelligence, 6th Dortmund Fuzzy Days, held in Dortmund, Germany, in May 1999.The 68 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from an overwhelming number of submissions.
