Many of the contributions were conceived and designed exclusively for this project, whereby a variety of different techniques were employed. The contributors include: Tomato, the English group of designers; Tibor Kalman, the designer of the Benetton magazine; Rolf Fehlbaum, the chairman of Vitra, a Swiss furniture company; Scott and Laurie Makela, the American designers and musicians; Sean Perkins, the manager of NORTH Design in London; Peter Rea, the professor of intermedia; Michael Saup, the video and computer artist from Frankfurt; and Edward Fella, the typography guru from Calarts in Los Angeles.
