Anhand der Fallbeispiele Indien, Brasilien und Sudafrika untersucht Dana de la Fontaine die entwicklungspolitische Rolle sogenannter Emerging Donors seit den 1990er Jahren. Die Autorin beantwortet die Frage, inwiefern die Ausweitung der Sud-Sud-Geberaktivitaten auf das Agieren bestimmter institutioneller Akteure auf nationaler Ebene in diesen Landern zuruckgefuhrt werden kann. Gleichzeitig wird danach gefragt, aufgrund welcher Interessenslagen sich diese Akteure fur eine Ausweitung der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit eingesetzt haben. Aus theoretischer Sicht wird schliesslich analysiert, ob diese Prozesse als ein aussenpolitischer Wandel zu verstehen sind.
