In dieser Studie bildet ein theoretisches Sprachverarbeitungsmodell aus der psycholinguistischen Forschung die Grundlage fur die Beschreibung aphasischer Symptome. Anhand dieses Modells wird ein Untersuchungsinstrument entwickelt, welches fur die Diagnose und Therapie in der sprachtherapeutischen Praxis eingesetzt werden kann. Die Untersuchungsaufgaben werden auf die spezifischen Module und Verarbeitungsprozesse des Modells abgestimmt. Mit dem hier vorgestellten Instrumentarium gelingt es, aphasische Symptome eindeutig zu beschreiben, die zugrundeliegenden funktionellen Storungen zu erkennen und Massnahmen fur eine effektive Therapie festzulegen.
