Kultursensitive Entwicklungspsychologie (0-6 Jahre): Grundlagen und Praxis fur padagogische Arbeitsfelder

The textbook represents the central foundations of developmental psychology in relation to the first six years of life. The entire book takes a culturally sensitive perspective and establishes a connection to the practice of social work and childhood education. Borke, Lamm and Schroeder represent the central dimensions of development from zero to six years. Development theories such as the binding theory, as well as different areas of development, u. a. the emotional development, language development, cognitive development, the development of gaming behavior as well as sensory and motor skills are described. Practical examples deepen the theoretical presentation and encourage reflection. For the first time in German-speaking countries, different cultural development paths are taken into account. This central feature of the book enables the development of action strategies for a systematic handling of cultural diversity.
