English summary: This Festschrift for Bernd Sosemann deals with the three large connected areas of his scientific work. Friends, students, and companions congratulate with contributions that cover the spectrum of the early modern period, to the 19th and 20 Centuries, and through to the present day. The focus lies on Prussia and Germany: theoretical, conceptual historical, source-critical, and biographical considerations come as much into play as the phenomena of public communication (e.g., propaganda stories, culture of remembrance, historical research on reading).
