Networks, Resources and Economic Action: Ethnographic Case Studies in Honor of Hartmut Lang

The contributions are based on ethnographic field work in East and South East Asia, Oceania, Africa, the Americas and Europe, in rural and in urban settings. Methodology-based ethnography - qualitative and quantitative alike - is basic to an understanding of anthropology as an empirical social science.
