Die Beitrage behandeln in ihrer Gesamtheit einen exemplarischen und zentralen Ausschnitt aus dem Spannungsfeld zwischen linguistischer Theorie und lexikographischer Praxis. Im Mittelpunkt der Eroerterungen stehen einerseits die Ergebnisse der linguistischen - und speziell lexikologischen - Forschung, die es fur die Sprachpraxis zu erschliessen und fruchtbar zu machen gilt. Andererseits sollen auf Grund detaillierter Analysen von Typen der lexikographischen Datenerhebung und Datenprasentation neue Standards fur die Lexikographie herausgebildet werden.
