Das thematische Spektrum des Bandes ist denkbar weit, sodass er sowohl fur Germanisten als auch fur Musikwissenschaftler und Philosophiehistoriker von Interesse ist. Eroeouml;rtert werden spezielle Probleme anhand laufender Editionsprojekte wie auch Modelle von Editionen, die sich erst in der Vorbereitung befinden. Zugleich werden theoretische Aspekte des Rahmenthemas zur Diskussion gestellt, sodass der Band insgesamt eine verlassliche Orientierung uber die aktuelle Situation in Editionstheorie und -praxis bereithalt.
