Der Sammelband dokumentiert die Beitrage der Internationalen Tagung der Arbeitsgemeinschaft philosophischer Editionen in Verbindung mit dem Albertus-Magnus-Institut, die vom 21.- 23. 2. 2005 in Bonn stattfand. Editionen philosophischer und literarischer Texte haben nicht nur einen wissenschaftlichen Wert, sondern auch eine kulturelle und politische Bedeutung. Sie sind gleichzeitig Ausdruck einer bestimmten historischen Situation. Mit ihrer Entwicklung geht haufig ein editionsphilologischer oder technischer Wandel einher. Die Beitrage stellen Editionsprojekte vom Mittelalter bis ins 20. Jahrhundert vor und zeigen deren Wandel und Wirkung.
