Text in German. This study of modern literature raises the question of the place of the man who allows himself to be sexually penetrated. In detailed readings of texts by Otto Julius Bierbaum, Arnolt Bronnen, Hubert Fichte, Hans Henny Jahnn, Franz Kafka, Thomas Mann and Robert Musil, among others, she develops a veritable poetology of penetrated masculinity. On the basis of a contextualization in the field of competing conceptions of homosexuality of the early 20th century, the work does not specifically ask about male homosexuality, but rather summarizes penetrated masculinity as a discourse-historical and literary figuration with its own logic that does not merge into male homosexuality.
