Relationale Erkenntnishorizonte Zwischen Exegese Und Systematischer Theologie
Relationale Erkenntnishorizonte Zwischen Exegese Und Systematischer Theologie
Relationality - in God himself and in humanity as well -, recently acknowledged as a basic concept of Systematic Theology, is already inherent in Old and New Testament texts. Seen from the perspective of Theology as a whole, however, the question remains whether a relational Dogmatics, in dialogue with the exegetical disciplines, is able to develop a Hermeneutics that is faithful to the biblical texts. This collection of papers, presented by scholars of the aforementioned disciplines at a Conference at Bochum University, outlines questions such as: What relevance can be attributed to the relational model in the exegetical disciplines and Systematic Theology, respectively? Do relational models provide a missing link that enables a more productive and mutual reception of Systematic Theology and Biblical Studies of each other? Are sameness and plurality compatible with one another?
