Die Tiroler Landesordnungen von 1526, 1532 und 1573: Historische Einfuhrung und Edition
The Tyrolean provincial ordinances of 1526, 1532 and 1573 are the central legal sources of the ducal county of Tyrol in the early modern period. Your edition is a long-awaited desideratum not only of Tyrolean historical research, especially since Tyrol was the only one of the Austrian states in which such a legal fixation of considerable parts of the legal system came about. The connection between the regional order of 1526 and the Peasants’ War of 1525 was repeatedly emphasized in the literature by the mystifying designation of the Bauernlandesordnung . In addition to the provincial regulations, the Tyrolean Maleficite Code of 1499, which is a preliminary stage to the provincial regulations and has been completely incorporated into them, as well as the Tyrolean Policey Regulation of 1573, which was regularly printed together with the provincial regulation of 1573, are being edited.
