Austro-Keynesianismus: Zur wirtschaftspolitischen Rolle des Staates

The crisis of neoliberalism that became apparent in 2007/08 increasingly raises the question of the economic role of the state. This also includes a renewed debate about Keynesianism. The Austrokeynesianism of the 1970s appears as a specific expression of the Keynesian mainstream. The book presents it as a formative phase in the development of the economic policy of the Second Republic with its predispositions in the first post-war decades and its long-term effects. It shows that Austrokeynesianism, which is characterized by economic policy leadership, is a flexible policy mix based on the changing requirements with hard currency policy as its core element.
