The Early Modern Period in Germany 1620-1720 extends the dictionary of authors tradition into the 18th century. The dictionary aims to illuminate the literary forms, dynamics, and debates of the past. Each article offers a biographical portrait while also analyzing and contextualizing the author’s works. The articles, which are based on primary sources, also provide details concerning manuscripts, print publications, and research literature.
