Die Edition gewahrt nicht nur wichtige Einblicke in die Theologie-, Literatur- und Musikgeschichte der Barockzeit, sondern dokumentiert uberdies den spezifischen Beitrag barock-geistlicher Lyrik zur Auslegung alttestamentlicher Texte.
