Die Studie eroertert Darstellung und Pragung raumlicher Erfahrung im religioesen sowie im kognitionspsychologischen Kontext. Dazu werden religioese und technische Erfahrung anhand des Ansatzes von Kuno Lorenz zum Erwerb von Handlungskompetenzen (im Anschluss an C.S. Peirce) verglichen, Zeitlichkeit personaler Identitat nach Paul Ricoeur mit einem narrativen Schematismus beschrieben und dieses Modell der Mimesis, ausgehend von dem Satz vom Widerspruch , auf die Raumlichkeit und Widerstandigkeit der Person hin erganzt.

Die narrative Mimesis lasst sich als fur den religioesen Kontext typische Form der Darstellung und Pragung verstehen. Analog wird die Simulation als fur die Kognitionspsychologie charakteristischer topischer Schematismus behandelt. Fallstudien (Dtn 26,5-9; Ex 1,1-20; States of being Conscious ) verdeutlichen die Konkurrenz, die bezuglich des Anspruchs auf Erfahrung minimaler Widerstandigkeit besteht.
