Excerpt from Sammelbuch Griechischer Urkunden aus Agypten, Vol. 2: Enthaltend die Worterlisten zum Ersten Bande Obwohl die bereitgestellten Geldmittel nach unsern bisherigen Anschauungen auerordentlich hoch waren, hatten sie bei der sprung haft fortschreitenden Geldentwertung fur den beabsichtigten Zweck gleichwohl nicht ausgereicht, wenn ich nicht dazu geschritten ware, die Worterlisten erheblich dadurch zu kurzen, da ich fur jedes Wort nur die Zitate zusammenstellte, die verschiedenartigen Wort bedeutungen aber unberucksichtigt lie. Bei Anfertigung der Listen hat mich meine Tochter Grete Preisigke in reichem Mae andauernd unterstutzt.
