Fundamentals of Autonomic Communications

This book will serve as a comprehensive introduction to and reference for autonomic communication and systems. Autonomic technologies are designed to manage the increasing business, system, and technical complexity of computing systems. Systems built from these technologies are self-governing, and exhibit self-configuration, self-healing, and other capabilties. More importantly, autonomic systems reconnect business needs and objectives with the management of the underlying technology used to build them. This is the first reference book that explains how to build autonomic systems, and uses a set of real-world examples to blend academic theory with industrial practice and experience.
