Refusal to believe their stated objectives has resulted in a policy of indecision. Communist words from day to day proclaim peace; their actions indicate hostility. More-over, by tradition Americans tend to trust in the good will or good intentions of others, and this attitude simply does not hold in our dealings with the communists."
