This book is designed for speakers of Kirundi and similar languages whose English levels are beginning and intermediate. The book contains the following topics: English alphabet, numbers and their various usages, geometrical shapes, social English, proverbs, English tenses, miscellaneous English grammatical structures (use of WH - question words, relative clauses, passive and active voice, etc.), Transitional words and viewpoint adverbs, abbreviations, countries and adjectives of nationality, etc. The last part deals with a small assorted dictionary which comprises five chapters for helping learners to build up vocabulary in the field of agronomy, politics and administration, religion and Faith, Education, Human body and health. On the one hand this book is a companion for a Kirundi speaker who is learning English; on the other hand it can also help to a certain extent English speakers who want to learn Kirundi.
