About writing about him and his companies, Elon Musk said:
I know there is a bunch of people writing books on Tesla and SpaceX and it is pretty hard for them to get it right, because they just weren’t there. Maybe I should write a book of my experiences with all the foolish mistakes I’ve done and some advice for others that might be helpful. The goal of this book is to give exclusively to Elon Musk, in his own words, to speak and explain what he thinks, what he wants and how he sees the future. By listening to him speak and trying to explain his views and ideas, I discovered a man with a sincere goal to change the world and make it a better place. He is not only very intelligent, an excellent businessman, but also very modest and sincere.
