Birdie

Amara Bianchi was taken from her family when she was three by one of their rivals, then put into sex slavery and trafficking by her "adoptive parents".

Eventually, Amara forgets the old life she used to have; the one of safety and comfort, of love and stability, and spirals down a pathway of self-hatred and anxiety.

She's in her room one day when the door opens and a woman walks in, claiming to be there to help her. But Amara is used to the routine she has now, and she doesn't want to go back to the horror she thinks her old life used to be.
