Paris et Vienne, translated from the Provencal by Pierre de La Cepede in 1432, recounts the frustrated love of a young couple, whose tenacity eventually leads to the triumph of love. The version edited here belonged to Jean de Wavrin, thus establishing a link between the domain of Anjou-Provence and the court of Bourgogne.
