This volume gives for the first time the critical edition of the two prose versions of Adenet le Roi’s Roman de Cleomades, which represents the Oriental theme of the flying wooden horse: the first version is that of Philippe Camus according to the manuscript Paris, BnF fr. 12561, the second the version printed by Guillaume Leroy (Lyon, c. 1480).
