Gurlz

A crazy artbook packed with mighty female warriors who display a certain je ne sais quoi: tough fantasy characters, badass girls-next-door and axe-weilding hipster chicks. Illustrator, character designer and art director, Serge Birault (aka ‘Papa Ninja’), has worked in video games, animation, design, illustration, and advertising. He has worked for Warner Brothers, Sony, Ubisoft, Eidos, and Netflix, among others. His work often tends to reflect an unhealthy obsession with cephalopods and women weilding unfeasably large weapons. His previous artbook ‘Corpus Delicti’ was an international success. He is based in Montreal, currently working at Vituos. Surprisingly, he actually studied law at University, not illustration. He says it was fun, but then Serge Birault is French (nobody’s perfect).
