Trois discrets eleves du lycee ou j'exerce comme pion m'ouvraient les yeux sur leur etrange faculte de se transformer en une improbable et redoutable creature. Je fus terrorise. Mais ils m'aiderent a surmonter mes peurs pour comprendre leur place dans l'ordre naturel des choses. Je devins leur meneur, et l'un d'entre eux mon gardien. Partager cette experience dans mon premier temoignage fut eprouvant mais me servit de therapie post-traumatique. Je restai convaincu qu'apres cela plus rien ne pourrait m'effrayer. Jusqu'a ma confrontation avec quelque chose de plus grand, plus fort, imprevisible. Et pour la premiere fois: malefique ! Cet ouvrage relate les evenements survenus apres ceux rapportes dans mon premier temoignage.
