Coin God

Within the silver coin lives a spirit that has protected Kai since he was a small child - or so he believes. But it is not just the boy’s faith that is put to the test as he seeks to escape the brutal world he was born into. He befriends two captives, a father and daughter from a more civilized society who fire Kai’s imagination about other worlds and possibilities beyond his own narrow existence. Kai must play the part of confidant to a mad chieftain, scholar to an old sage and slave to a murderous band of adventurers before he arrives at a more mature understanding of himself and his destiny.
