Leaving Our Homeland - Syria to the Isle of Bute is a moving and heartfelt collection of narratives shared by Syrian women whose lives have been affected by the Arab Spring uprising in 2011 and the subsequent war in Syria. Crossing borders, enduring extreme hardship in Lebanon, they found an opportunity to begin a new life on the Isle of Bute, an island off the coast of Scotland.
