The search for somewhere to belong leads two strangers, Jacob and Mati, to a secluded Ontario community as its residents encounter unthinkable tragedy. In the shadows, Alex faces the end of the world head on, and forges a new way forward. As the sickness spreads, they confront the harsh reality of what it will take to survive, and how the repercussions will forever change them.
