More than 150 full colour aerial photographs taken from my hot air balloon of Ashbourne and local villages between 1985-90.

These provide a fascinating historical record of this small market town in Derbyshire in the 1980's.

So many changes have occurred since these were taken, what once were green fields and school playing fields are now housing estates.

Several local villages are also included in the collection including: Osmaston, Mappleton, Clifton, Carsington, Parwich, Thorpe and Mayfield.
