Aarons Anguish

Aaron Carter has lost too many people from his life. His sister's injury reminds him of his own failure and that he is to blame for the death of his father and brother. Or at least he thinks so. It's just better he stay away and not get close to anyone, lest they die too. Retreating into darkness and avoiding people whenever he could, he becomes gruff and aloof. Bess, clinging to her faith, does her utmost to drag her brother out of his darkness. When she has to leave for the city, Aaron is left on his own to wallow in darkness. Nothing could ever redeem him now. That is until an accident on his property leaves his world in turmoil. Something about rescuing that woman and her young daughter ministers to Aaron's broken heart. Can he ever break through the anguish and dare to let himself love?
