A group of legendary trappers, under the leadership of Davie Meadows, are fulfilling a promise to guide a young woman named Sarah and her little brother Jamie to their land claim on the Willamette River of Oregon. Their journey takes them through the South Pass of the Continental Divide and into a land that is full of gigantic wonderments, adventures and danger! It is an untamed land that was first roughly mapped out by Lewis and Clark during their famous exploratory trip across America in the early 1800’s.
