Quills from Africa 30: Long Walk to Home, was compiled by Oladeji Jonathan D. A collection of short stories and poems by aspiring authors some of whom have won awards for their literature works. It is a book of eclectic mix of short stories, some from real life stories and others from the fantasy world of the mind. The setting of the stories exposes the reader to the land, the climate and the ways of African people. The authors are self-confident, creative and use imaginations that keep the reader captivated. It is through these stories that they have created their sense of self and bring people together and expand their limited views of the world.
