From a trauma perspective, Nobody Special takes an in-depth look into the life of a young girl who was robbed of her childhood. She was ripped away from her siblings by the very system meant to protect her and written out of her grandfather’s eulogy. To them, she no longer existed. She would grow up with a severe attachment disorder, complex PTSD, and develop Stockholm syndrome. She was only seven months when her abuse began.
