Carol is distressed and angry at the world as her grandfather has been murdered along with her parents and it seems like her family is fighting for custody of her to get her inheritance. Meanwhile Emmett’s life is in turmoil as his baby mama Sherry-Anne and his son Caleb have temporarily moved in with him and Lily isn’t speaking to him. Emmett is however preoccupied with solving the Banks murders and the mayor but is getting nowhere. The teens band together to solve the murder and put themselves in mortal danger again as they all find that family connections are the ties that bind.
