Life can be an enigma. Like a puzzle, we just need to figure out where to place the pieces. It can be very difficult sometimes, especially when a piece does not fit in the space, we thought it would. When that happens, we can either try to force it in, or step back to see the big picture. Then always try again. Enigma: Portrait of a Life, is the result of my attempt at stepping back and reflecting on life. Through these pages, I have managed to connect some pieces and have been pleasantly surprised along the way by how childhood events have informed much of who I am today: mother, educator, thinker, and doer.
