The storms of life may hit hard against you and you would not know where to turn to. The crisis of life’s situations make things to go haywire. Society will not understand why you as a Christian should go through such a storm. But the good book assures us that when we go through the valley of the shadow of death, deliverance surely comes at the right time. In life, where there are no hurdles there are no champions. Without battles, there are no victories. The storms of life do not discriminate because they are no respecter of persons. It’s hard to wait around for something you know might never happen but it’s harder to give up when you know it’s everything you want. You can’t buy your way out of storms. God’s best soldiers are born out of the school of affliction. This book sheds light on how one should not tiptoe around God’s promise asking sceptical questions but rather plunges into the promises of God, knowing that God would make good on what He has promised. Faith is about trusting God even when you don’t understand His plan. Patience is a virtue and a fruit of the spirit that everyone should possess. A lot of people have lost their breakthroughs or a step in the right direction, their marriages, jobs and even children because of impatience. A lot more people have lost their lives through impatience. As a child of God, do not rush in life, for we are not in a competition but rather completing our assignment.
